Los Chorros waterfalls is a fabulous local secret nestled in neighboring Grecia. Just a 25 minute drive will take you to this must see. Pack a picnic lunch if you’d like and hike down a trail through a beautiful Costa Rican forest. There are 2amazingly beautiful waterfalls divided by a breathtaking canyon, which you can walk over on a hanging wooden bridge. Cross over the bridge and you will walk by several mini waterfalls that spill through the cracks in magnificent canyon. Explore further and you will find multiple swimming areas as well as picnic areas with BBQ areas. You can spend the whole day here if you’d like or visit for a few hours.
